Kelsey & Ramen
Over the past month and a half, Kelsey has been riding Ramen to getting him back into shape and into a regular work routine after his time off. While challenging, Kelsey has enjoyed her time with Ramen, building him up on the flat and tackling fences again. The two have clicked so well that Kelsey will be taking Ramen to MTSU, where she’s a senior, within the next week. While Ramen doesn’t quite have all of the qualifications to rush a fraternity, we know that college life will suit him well, and that he will enjoy his time there with Kelsey. We can’t wait to see them compete together in the No Frills at Brownland in October. Congrats to you both!
Rejina & G
This pair was a happy accident. Rejina hopped on G for Poppy just so Poppy could see how she was with another rider (G came with Kelsey to hang out over the summer) and the ride went so well that they decided to repeat it the next day. Rejina, who was looking for a new partner after her lease with Friday ended, immediately clicked with the young mare. Rejina has been officially leasing G since August and will continue to do so until next year. Recently, they went to their first ever horse show together and laid down a fantastic hunter round. We’re all so excited for you both and can’t wait to see what you can accomplish together in the future!
Tracey & Smooch
When Tracey first started lessons again after her time off, she knew she wanted a large warmblood from the get-go. Several months after her arrival, she began half-leasing Cyrus. But she knew that soon, she wanted a horse of her own. The moment she laid eyes on Smooch, via a Facebook picture, she was in love. After a quick trip to North Carolina to try him out, it was a done deal. A week later, and he was stepping off the trailer and onto the property and leaving hoof prints all over Tracey’s heart. Though young, Smooch has a solid foundation, and Tracey is eager to take him to the next level. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these two!
