Boarding & Services

Trinity Farm offers full-service boarding for your horse at our facility in Lakeland, TN. The stable, built in 2009, has eighteen stalls, each with a limestone base, rubber mats, high powered fans, and web-cams in each stall. Cross ties and wash racks with hot and cold running water, an automatic fly-spray system, and alarm system ensure comfort and security in all seasons.

Riding Lessons

Our lesson program is designed to accommodate riders of all abilities and ages. Our well-loved school horses and ponies offer security for those just starting out and challenges for the more advanced. Riders in our lesson program have the opportunity to participate in every part of barn life, whether or not they own a horse, including competitions and our educational programming.

All of our riders are encouraged to participate in a variety of competitions, depending on their skill level, ability, and desire to show. Those still in middle or high school are expected to maintain their grades to be allowed to participate in shows. View our show schedule for this year.

We participate in fun shows, local schooling and rated shows, and away shows.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding & Equine Facilitated Learning

As part of our lesson program, we offer therapeutic horseback riding lessons and equine facilitated learning (EFL) sessions for children and adults with a PATH Int’l. certified instructor. Participants in our therapeutic riding and EFL program learn equestrian based skills and have the opportunity to ride and compete in our hunter/jumper program. Our volunteers working as leaders and sidewalkers are provided as necessary for stability and safety.

We rely on our volunteers for the success of the therapeutic horseback riding program. Many of our volunteers are participants in our lesson program. Other volunteers have never ridden before but simply want to help out! Volunteers must complete an orientation session and usually shadow another volunteer the first few times they attend a therapeutic riding session. If you would be interested in volunteering, please contact us.

Team Building @ Trinity Farm

  • Communications 75% 75%
  • Leadership 52% 52%
  • Intrapersonal Worth 64% 64%
  • Team Cohesion 87% 87%

At Trinity Farm, our equine-based team building sessions provide equine interactions both on and off the horse, stimulating personal growth and development for each participant. Sessions are customized to meet the needs of each group and focus on identified strengths and weaknesses.

We guide your group through a series of exercises that build on basic concepts and then progress to developing communication, teamwork, and leadership. From catching a horse in the field to riding it though an obstacle course, your team learns how to work together using multiple forms of communication when the medium of speech is not enough. What seems impossible at first feels natural by the end of our sessions!

Team building sessions are tailored to to fit your group’s needs in a two hour, half day or full day experience.
