Our lift was given to us many years ago in honor of a wonderful woman named Barbara Moore. When Barbara approached us wanting to ride after years out of the saddle, the community came together to help her be able to do what she loved by fundraising for a lift to safely mount riders who are unable to mount themselves. Since then, our lift has brought joy and help to many riders who may not otherwise be able to experience the benefits of riding horses, both mental and physical.
We were saddened to hear that Barbara passed in October 2022 and honored that one of her requests was that Trinity Farm receive donations to our therapeutic and adaptive riding program on her behalf. We have been thankful to receive gifts from her friends and family that will greatly benefit riders in need of assistance. With their generosity, Barbara will be remembered as the strong and passionate woman that she was for years to come.
